The Scottish Heritage Society of Sarasota, Inc.
A 501c3, non profit organization.

To create awareness through education and promotion of Scottish history, heritage and culture to the community-at-large.


The Scottish Heritage Society of Sarasota, Inc. is a 501(c)3 established in 1993, is a  non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion, education and enrichment of Scottish  traditions and  culture in Southwest Florida.  We are organized solely for general charitable purposes in accordance  with Florida Statutes.
The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized is:  To enhance Scottish culture through social, education and charitable activities  working in  co-operation with other groups especially those that are Scottish. 

The main function of the Scottish Heritage Society of Sarasota, Inc. is to produce and celebrate cultural events such as the Sarasota Highland Games and Celtic Festival, The Annual Gillespie Golf Tornament, Ceilidhs and Kirkin o the Tartan to name a few.
